Born in 1963 into a family of musicians, he took his first cello lessons with his uncle, the cellist Wilfried Tachezi, when he was seven years old. Later he studied with Tobias Kühne at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

Born in Graz in 1948, he grew up in Linz. He studied the piano with Grete Hinterhofer and Alexander Jenner at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, gaining his final diploma with distinction. He also is laureate of many competitions.

Wolfgang Wilhelmi studied under Prof. Hans Noeth at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. Additional studies followed under Prof. Heinz Lohann in Stuttgart and Prof. Erich Penzel in Cologne.

Vesna Podrug was born in Split, Croatia, where she also received her first piano lessons from Professor Gordanna Lentic. By the time she graduated from school in 1986 she had already won six first prizes in the national competitions.
